Katherine Wu smiling and writing on a stone wall

About Katherine

I build products. I stay curious about people.

I'm a product manager with six years of experience in technology and an academic background spanning cognitive and occupational health psychology.

Based in the Netherlands, I bring a research-trained understanding of people to the way I frame problems and build products. Outside work, I'm an athlete, an otaku, a podcast host, and a writer.

The common thread

Career
throughline

My path moves between understanding people and building systems for them.

Psychology taught me to ask precise questions and look past surface behavior. Product management taught me how to turn that understanding into decisions, experiences, and scalable capabilities.

Across Baidu, Kuaishou, and Keep, I have worked on both the journeys people see and the operational foundations that make those journeys possible. Moving to the Netherlands and returning to psychology widened that perspective again.
